Location sharing is optional. POI visits and contributed photos depend on enabled features; submissions are not public before moderation.

Different platforms, explicit choices
Web, installed PWA and Android retain Dating/Family options. The native iOS app is permanently networking-only and does not collect KYC or face-verification data.
You choose what to share

Location is a choice
Approximate friend sharing is opt-in and reciprocal among accepted, unblocked friends. Turning it off deletes the shared location; a location expires after 24 hours.
Health stays a separate decision
Apple Health and Health Connect import steps and activity only with native read-only consent. Step circles are private and need accepted invitations; native health records do not drive matching or Social Rating.
Safety without impossible promises
Manage privacy, block or report a member and choose a separate end-to-end encrypted secret chat when appropriate. Optional verification is not a background check or a guarantee of safety.
